The nuclear industry in the UK is currently in transition. While there is debate regarding the development of a new generation of nuclear power stations, the creation of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is acting as a catalyst to refocus the existing industry away from operation towards liability management and long-term decommissioning.
